Episode 1: First Command

Plot points/Scenes

The episode opens with the Commander tired and weary after along day on Station K7. Upon finally arriving at their quarters they are interrupted by Jinu Nikka coming in to give them new orders. They are the new second in command of the ISS Inanna.
After meeting Lieutenant Kani , the Commander is escorted to Captain Alexandra Zal's Ready Room where, after some discussing, the Captain takes the Commander to meet Karm Bojin Uran and Lieutenant Ashira Tiur in the Xeno-technology lab as they discuss the Artifact.
After some discussion about the Artifact and Jump Gates, the Captain leaves the Commander to wander the ship and meet the crew before they continue the mission. Over the course of their wandering they will meet Doctor Oluna (Chief Medical Officer), Lieutenant Commander Armin Hall (Chief Engineer), reacquaint with Jinu Nikka (now the Chief Life Sciences Officer), and Lieutenant Kani (Chief Tactical Officer).
The Commander will also chose their own personal servant from Chole Simms, Asa Takashi, and David Grahm.
As the Inanna approaches the Jump Gate the Artifact will react with the ships systems and cause a feedback cascade causing a conduit explosion in the Xeno-technology lab. The Commander rushes down there in time to see Bojin trying to stop the Artifact from overloading, with the Commander able to offer input on the course of action. As the ship is pulled through the Jump Gate something goes wrong and the Commander is knocked out after impacting a wall.
The Commander comes to some time later with Ashira over them, and Bojin on the ground being looked over by a medic. After a short walk to the Bridge and some down time with the crew the ship finds itself in orbit around a planet in a new system.
The Commander has a choice of who to bring with them on the away mission. Each team has a science officer, a tactical officer, and an engineer. Team 1 has Ensign Rachel Taylor, Kani, and Ensign Adam Donnelly. Team 2 has Ashira Tiur, Ensign Tarik Rin, and Ensign Samantha Nidala.
Team 1 Plot

As the team explore the planet the find a cave with bodies inside. A quick scan by Rachel find the bodies are those of Titan Empire species, or some species at least. Conjecture on how they came to be there is interrupted by a Sprayer Drone which forces the team deep into the cave. There they find a door way into an underground chamber filled with stasis chambers and a lone figure among the chambers, aiming a gun at them. After a brief, tense, conversation the woman identifies herself as Anaya, and explains that the chambers are Indoctrination Pods used by the Urami Hegemony. Introductions are cut short as enemy forces move in and capture the team, knocking them out in the process.
The Commander later wakes up, having suffered from hallucinations, floating in an indoctrination pod with Kani in a pod next to them, and a woman in strange armor before them (Ziya), taunting them before knocking them out with drugs.

Team 2 Plot

As the team explore the planet the find a temple, which is quickly revealed to be a cloaked base of sorts. Inside the base the team finds a series of tables with the bodies or various members of Titan Empire species chained to them... or some species at least. As Rin is accessing the memories of a dead fellow Jurion, conjecture is interrupted by a Sprayer Drone which forces the team into the base. There they find a door into an underground chamber filled with stasis chambers and a lone figure among the chambers, aiming a gun at them. After a brief, tense, conversation, the woman identifies herself as Anaya, and explains that the chambers are Indoctrination Pods used by the Urami Hegemony.
