Megadeath

Megadeath was a super villain whose sole power was to detonate on a near-nuclear scale a single time. He used this to wipe out the leadership of his former religion during one of their major conferences in Salt Lake City. The vast majority of the city was destroyed, and in the aftermath it was rebuilt as Paragon City.
