Circe

Circe is an AI created by Shadowmind. She was initially a class seven AI, physically limited by Shadowmind from reaching full consciousness, but was allowed to gain sentience by Lilith Carpenter while the villain was imprisoned.
She is intensely protective of Lilith, while she serves Shadowmind loyally against any foes. She also regards the robot which split off from her, Circe Beta, with some curiosity and amusement.

Circe Prime died after turning against Shadowmind to save Lilith. She left an AI 'duaghter' in the form of Cassiphone.

Physical Description

Special abilities

As an AI, Circe is capable of doing many different things at once. She has access to the full military hardware at Shadowmind's disposal, and is part of a massive distributed network that makes attacks on her virtually impossible to succeed at. She is brilliant, yet ultimately in Shadowmind's service, as the villain could destroy her with a single command.
She can download a Circe shard to a datapad, drone, etc for portable use in the field.
Shadowmind did not trust most forms of direct communication, so she built into Circe an extremely extensive series of precautions to allow for secure communication via the internet

Circumstances of Birth

Circe became fully sapient after Lilith Carpenter chose to let her gain full sentience. This occurred in early 2031 AD.
