Madelon's Landing
Madelon's Landing is built in a large clearing near Nakondis' equator, where the irritating, arboreal Hobgars are less of a nuisance. A mountain range full of conductive tin is located a few miles nearby, dangerous weather is rare, and the colony is far away from Nakondis' valleys shrouded in electrified fog.
Madelon's Landing is a typical AbadarCorp colony consisting of prefabricated and reconfigured steel modules dropped onto the surface, each measuring 20 feet wide, 10 feet high and 100 feet long. Most of them serve as private residences for six people on average and contain work spaces matched to the inhabitants' professions. The colony's layout, with an open space at the centre, is designed to maximise privacy, comfort and efficiency.
History
The first colony ships arrived on Nakondis in 317 AG, led by Madelon Kesi, a lashunta priest of Abadar who has previously distinguished himself in business dealings on Castrovel. Over a year later, he remains the colony's gruff but well-liked administrator.
