Session 8 - Assembly and Ambush

General Summary

15th The Melting, 2063 EC

• The party decided to visit Eillana and tell her about what happened and Zoumos' tower.

• Eillana offered to help the party exact their justice (or revenge). She suggested the party break in to Zoumos' tower, through an entrance she knows about in the Felshear springs, and steal any notes or documents the wizard has regarding his current subject of research. In return - and depending on what Eillana learns from these documents - she will use her position within the Assembly to ensure Zoumos faces consequences for killing Wanklicus.

• The party spent the night at The Winged Wizard. Wildervan bought some parchment and wrote some flyers.

16th The Melting, 2063 EC

• Early in the morning Faephine explored the city, and visited the Fire Crystal.

• Before leaving the Winged Wizard, Eillana arrived and informed the party that a Paladin of Dawn had just arrived in the city, via a teleportation request from Giniseve Reborn. Apparently, Xyrrel Yelfaren had also requested to be teleported to Wild Harbour.

• The party met the Paladin as he was leaving the Astral Academy. The Paladin demanded that Faephine hand over the Keystone she took from Vominti Tower.

• After some negotiation, it was agreed that the Paladin would follow the party and collect the Keystone from Crimiss after they had used it.

• Wildervan paid a halfling to distribute his flyers about the city.

• Permenion did some shopping.

• The party left the city and travelled east.

• On the road the party were ambushed by the Crimson Clink. Violence was averted however, and the party continued after paying the bandits 2 gold.

• By the afternoon, the party had reached the plateau upon which Crimiss rests. As they continued, they could see the broken tower of strange black stone loom in the distance.
