Lapothox

The strange black stone which can shine crimson when it catches the sunlight.
It is theorised that it is crafted using magma.
It is a post-Blink material - it has only been found in the Old World in areas effected by the disaster.
One notable case of the appearance of this material is the Lapothox Towers of Voswiadul. Many of these structures were found dotted across the island when it was re-discovered after the Blink.
Structures built from Lapothox are bizarre - as they often appear as one singular piece and can lean at haphazard angles. They are not particularly sturdy structures.
Naughaorth is probably the most famous of these structures, found in Shiram Garden in the city of Giniseve Reborn.

Black, soft and gleaming. Can appear crimson when it catches the light.

Physical & Chemical Properties

Softer than many stone materials used for building. It is, however, difficult to seperate from itself - two pieces placed together will bond with no visible seams.

Taste

Sweet, almost sugary.

Black, red hints.
