A pale green Novakid wearing a bone mask cleaning out the tools notices Izel but seems unsurprised and unconcerned.
The Embalmer, Argon, greets Izel casually and coldly. Seemingly fully aware of Izel's intent and without any intent to interfere.
Diplomacy 8 - Izel attempts to gather useful information or additional clues about where the technology caches might be but Argon dismisses it as uninteresting
Arcana 5 - Izel attempts to learn more about the similarity of the embalming pod to cloning pods which interests Argon greatly as it's related to his work. Izel is not able to draw any technical conclusions past the aesthetic look and Argon quickly loses interest once again.

Izel enters the main Worship hall with a raised alter at the front and rows of seats. Even though it's late there are two guards sleeping in the rows. They wouldn't dare attack Izel here but if woken there is nothing stopping them from following Izel outside and attacking them right outside the door.
Stealth 16 Izel manages to slip past the guards quietly.
Behind the alter is what looks to be Tatu's battle armor. It's ornate ringed mail design is far beyond anything Izel has seen since he has arrived. It must be old tech created but since it's just shaped metal, allowed to exists here in this regressive place. Stealing religious artifacts from Tatu is probably a terrible idea. as is opening the large entry door with the sleeping guards present. So Izel ignores both to continue exploring the lesser temple. Encouraged by the anachronistic tech he has seen here already.

A back room looks to be an entrance to catacombs. it's full of supplies for lighting and safety underground and a lesser temple guard is fussing with their equipment here when Izel arrives.
Tatu has managed to access Izel's ship and extract the SDA he mentioned he needed. The guard is fussing with it but it's clearly been uninstalled with care, probably assisting with its own theft. Away from it's power as source it is running on backup but will still last a few weeks ... if the guard stops poking it at least.
Intimidation 19 - Izel scolds the guard for not bringing the SDA directly to him and to stop wasting it's battery immediately. All lies but the guard shoots up to attention none the wiser. Izel has the SDA now. but must stop exploring or give away that he wasn't really here to receive the SDA after all. now they just need to sneak it past Argon... if they even care.
Sleight of hand -3 - Izel tries to sneak the bulky AI companion back into the Storage room but bangs it loudly on the doorway between the embalming theatre and the worship hall by accident.
Failure Move
1 Cause Harm
Izel pulls a muscle from the awkward impact and stumbles into the theatre loudly.
Set the Scene
Izel can't possibly hide the SDA from Argon but the guards don't need to know about it. and since it's heretical technology anyway Izel trusts Tatu's embalmer more than city guards.
Complication: 5 All is not as it seems

Complication: 2 An obstacle blocks your way
Argon has one of the benches upside down in front of the storage closet and is cleaning some kind of blood or fluid from the bottom of the legs. They do not look happy about the distribution or the guards ... at least maybe they aren't happy... hard to get a read on Novakids in general, but worth a mask it's all the more impossible.
Yes/No (Likely)
Izel will bolt for the storage room and hope Argon both moves the bench and then covers for him.
3,4 Yes
Argon seeing a Izel and potentially incriminating tech Tatu was involved with quickly shuffles Izel inside the storage room then turns and starts yelling at the guards to get out because they just washed the room and the chemicals are highly toxic without a mask. lies. clever though. the guards buy it since they were just awoken and still disoriented.
Yes/No (Unlikely)
Does Argon confront Izel about what just happened?
1,5 No
Argon goes back to cleaning up like nothing happened. which is almost more creepy than any other response a normal person might have.
