Ghorfa

Native to the world of Tatooine, are the nomadic peoples that refer to themselves as the Ghorfa. In comparison to settlers in other parts of Tatooine, they have a primitive lifestyle, and tend to view outsiders with hostility.
Local settlers on Tatooine refer to the Ghorfa as "Sandpeople" or "Tusken Raiders". This was due to a devastating raid by a combined force of seven Ghorfa tribes on the settlement of Fort Tusken. Since then, the alias has been synonymous for the species.
