Kaoticon Discovered

The general time when the The Kaoticon was believed to have appeared on Earth.

Little is known about where it came from or how it happened, but it is universally agreed that the appearance of The Kaoticon was the cause of The Era of Madness, a time in which reality simply gave up, and went to have a drink. It was first discovered in a small village of Humans, Dwarves, and Elves, and once it was read, a catastrophe occurred. It is unknown exactly what happened, but an expedition into the village revealed that many of the buildings were left floating in the air, many of the residents had grown tails and started eating spare furniture, and the well was flooding with beer. The explorers were directed by a group of cats, which were having a small philosophical discussion, to the tome, which they believed was the source of the oddities. The group took it back to their city, where another event occurred that left every building in a 50 ft. radius made of bacon.   It is believed that the explorers that retrieved The Kaoticon in the first place later organized the group that now actively hunts down its pages for destruction.
