The barbarians of Blackrock Cove are many, with a savage history of internal and external conflict that predates the station itself. Along with their hated enemies, the lizardfolk, they have eked out an existence by preying on nearby shipping lanes, the wild flora and fauna of the cove, and become integral to Blackjammer’s defence of the cove.
Sven the Bloody earned his name and captainhood five years ago, decapitating his captain after a violent battle, and bathing under a bucket of the deceaseds liquified remains. A berserker through and through, Sven leads scores of angry barbarians and lays claim to half a dozen ships, all based out of the Rageskull at the edge of the cove.
Sven has little interest in gold or jewels, slaves or bounties, and lives only for the hunt, the fight, and the kill. In battle he attacks with relentless fury, be it hand to hand with his savage axes, or by ship as the Haku Machente closes to grapple with its target.
He is not subtle, nor complicated, but represents one of the strongest threats in the challenge.
