The S5 church is a community of sex workers, entertainers, artists, and other passionate people who enjoy hedonism and mind altering substances. The church promotes free love, kindness, introspection, and self awareness. Given the proclivities of its members, S5 is looked down upon by many organised religions and political institutions, tolerated at best, outright obstructed at worst. Pirate ports like Blackrock Station are a natural fit for the church, but this is not to say it's not present in so called covilised settlements - just that it's a touch lower key.
