Crew Access
While your vessel has an active Hydroponics Bay, your
Sick Bay can treat Plant creatures, and you can recruit crew with the Plant creature type and/or that use a Druidid Focus as a Spellcasting Focus when you use the Recruit Action aboard the vessel.
Proficiency
When you perform a Harvest action on the facility if you are proficient with a Herbalism Kit make an wisdom check adding your proficiency bonus against DC 20; if successful you collect an additional amount of goods.
If you are not proficient with a Herbalism Kit Make a wisdom check against DC 15; if successful you gain proficiency with Herbalism Kits.
Install Options
When you install a Hydroponics Bay to your vessel choose its type from the options in the Bay Types Table.
While aboard your vessel, you can use an Install Action on an active Hydroponics Bay to change the Hydroponics Bay from one type to another. The Hydroponics Bay comes with two Herbalism Kits.

Cargo rules). Having these items discovered aboard your vessel while docked, or in your inventory and discovered while at a civilised settlement is a risk with law enforcement or local authorities. They cannot be bought or sold outside of a
Black Market.
Harvest Options
When you use Harvest action with this facility, you perform the Harvest: Collect Goods action::
Harvest: Collect Goods. Collect goods from the Hydroponics Bay as noted in the Bay Types table. The harvested items are placed in your cargo.
