Crew

Quality

Most vessels are crewed by sentient creatures, such as pirates, Giff, or other NPC's. Crew quality is determined as a single unit for the entire crew for combat effects, but recruits of a lower quality joining crews of a higher quality will still be paid as their previous quality for the first two tendays of their time aboard the vessel.

Improving Quality

Various events can increase the quality of a vessels crew. The most common way to increase the quality of crew is the Empower: Crew Drills vessel facility action (see Training Area).
