The Astral Venger is a Githyanki Pirate vessel operating out of the Astral Sea near Realmspace. It has been known to raid the Realmspace outposts of the Imperial Elven Navy (IEN), Realmspace Ceremorph Fleet (RCF), Giff Accord Navy Fleet (GANF), and the pirate forces of Blackrock Station.
The 'venger was holed by the Destiny in 2961, who defeated the command crew, locked the remaining crew in the dreadnoughts brig, and looted the vessel for spoils. The crew of the octopus made a deal with one of the remaining pirates named Vikith, leaving the githyanki alive aboard the vessel after he assisted them in looting the cargo. The last position of the Venger was approximately five days travel from Blackrock Station, and it is unknown if Vikith abandoned the vessel or if he released his fellow crew from the brig (and even then, if they accepted his command or threw him overboard as a traitor).
The additional 11 weapons fitted to the clipper reduce its total cargo from 60 tons to 38 tons.
