Adherents of The Skull

The Skull is worshipped as commonly in wildspace as any other of the pan-system powers, as death is never far living in wildspace.
With a tendency towards neutrality, the formalised church of The Skull are welcome in all ports, and generally left alone despite whispers of their necromantic ways. The adherents are quite discerning with their magic, however, and tend towards living members and clergy at most ports, with the undead and constructed members of the flock becoming more common in those places they are more welcome.
This is not to say the Adherents are evil, or have an nefarious plans - far from it, they see themselves as serving a natural power of the order of the universe - but suggests a keen awareness of the prejudices of others.
From time to time, however, a member of the Adherents falls prey to the allure of Acererak or Vecna, and is excommunicated and in most cases, hunted down.

Death is much a part of Life, as Life is of Death.
