Star of Darkness
Star of Darkness is one of the only spells which taps into dark magic energy that is also fully legal to use in all Leray battles. The reason for this is that Star of Darkness doesn't cause any real time damage nor does it put anyone in any kind of danger. It has even been reported that real time damage is very rare occur from this spell on targets who are already at Vital Drain status, proving how restrained this unique ability is. There are no other variations for Star of Darkness.
When the user launches this spell, which they must control for the entire duration with strong concentration, the spell starts by creating and opening up a large holographic magic circle underneath the target's location, which expands in size to about 5 meters. The wielder must tap into an aura of dark magic in order to generate this circle, though without any concentration to negative or hateful emotions. When the circle stops expanding, there is a brief window of time in which the target can escape from the confines of this circle before any damage is taken. When the invocation is complete, the circle begins unleashing its payload, lighting up brightly with a red magical glow as it quickly saps away the target's baseline stamina over time. Stamina is drained first, making it very hard for the person affected to make any physical movements, and thus increasing the difficulty through drain that they may escape from the circle after being affected, which is still possible. At the same time, HP is also drained from the target over time, but MP levels remain untouched. For a total time of 9 seconds, this glowing red circle hold a wielder down and drains HP and stamina to a point in which any kind of movement, magical invocation, or retaliation from that target is unlikely due to the amount of physical stamina being drained from them all at once. Even after the spell ends, this draining effect can last for several minutes after, dissuading that person from continuing a battle regardless of their HP and MP stats. The spell in total has a duration of 10 seconds. At the final second, the grounded circle begins to fade, while two red glyphrings of dark magic form several meters in the air from the center location of this circle, aimed at an angle towards the target. These glyphrings at the final second send a powerful surge of electricity into the targeted wielder, lasting only for a second. But with two arcs of red lighting dealing damage while keeping the signature of dark magic, this voltage is strong enough to take away a large portion of HP while further draining the target of their stamina through the jolt hold. Even this final part of the spell, while relying on dark magic is also restrained enough not to inflict real time damage while used under the protection of the veil.
Due to the nature of invocation, the wielder using Star of Darkness must hold their concentration to the spell, draining MP energy over time instead of in an instant moment. This means that during the entire effect of the spell's invocation, this user may easily be interrupted by an attack spell used against them should a retaliation be made. Additionally, this grounded circle cannot be moved once it is drawn. So if the target escapes the circle before the end of the spell, the user will have wasted their MP energy, as they will be somewhat left open for a counterattack. This ability can also be limited by an opposing Resistor Surge.

Manifestation
This red magical circle that grows on the ground also forms a specific shape inside of the circle, which initially resembles the star of Satan. When the designs and patterns finish, the symbol itself is simply that of well-placed patterns of black and red magic roses aligned in a similar star-shaped formation. This detailed formation and the holographic circle itself actually rotates on the ground at a slow speed. No magical effect is seen when the target is being drained of their energy, only the effect of the drain itself, while the HP depletion is monitored by their energy scope. The final double-electrical attack from the two red glyphrings spawning high above strikes very quickly, and fades almost as fast. As for the user, they are constantly expending their magic gradually through the support of a black/red glyphring held around their wrist the entire time.
