Term: Vital Drain

An uncommon status effect that will show up on the afflicted user's energy scope, alerting that the wielder should immediately stop battling and heal their health and MP levels immediately. The effect will also activate the wielder's energy scope automatically if it isn't already up. Vital Drain status occurs specifically when a wielder's MP levels are at exactly zero percent, while their HP levels are below an acceptable value above zero, resulting in a deficiency of energy dispersal response, which is required at a specific level for the veil of protection to protect each and every wielder. In this rare condition, the wielder's energy levels are too low for the veil to properly affect them, even if they are still consciously awake. Damage in addition to previous combat damage while Vital Drain status is active may result in real time damage to the afflicted target, causing serious injuries, or even death.
