Route 787

Initially built to make travel and trading between Lennith City and Eldora City easier, Route 787 received a major amount of support for its construction, and was completed by the end of 1968. Route 787 now stands as a massive long and wide bridge of powerful concrete, connecting the eastern island and Lennith City directly with 11 miles of traversable terrain. The route is essentially a large bridge supported well by underwater beams and maintenance teams to check and improve the infrastructure. Though because of its large distance, the popular route has also become a hotspot for more powerful Leray wielders testing their skills usually attained from Lennith Academy, or one of Eldora's many elite level training facilities. And thus, agent monitoring and gradyent shifts have been more important to the zone.

Purpose / Function

To provide faster and safer passageway between Lennith City and Eldora City over the ocean.

Architecture

Using Leray resistant concrete and glass rails on the sides for its construction, this massive bridge expands into an 11 mile long, 15 meter wide structure with thick support beams on the underside extending all the way to the bottom depths of the Hollifax Ocean. Route 787 is an intricate bridge, and a monument to the success and development of Junon's total infrastructure. On the start of either side of the bridge, the rails are not there to guard, because there is some distance to be traveled before one is considered over the ocean.

History

Recently finished in 1968, Leray wielders and gradyents alike have swarmed the bridge for the profitable business of Leray battling. Now consisting of only high-stakes wielders often graduated from Lennith Academy or Eldora Central Academy, the bridge is a massive hotspot for these kinds of fights. It is rumored that some people even live homeless in areas on the bridge to stake out the best spots.   Before the creation of Route 787, both travel and commerce availability was severely limited. It was difficult to fit a large supply of items onto large vessels and send them 11 miles overseas given the invisible currents within this side of the ocean and the weight distribution that would slow the vessels down. But more to the point, nobody could battle traveling this way, because hosting fights in the ocean is both dangerous and illegal. Just sailing through the sea is considered to be a moderate risk, since the veil cannot save anybody from drowning. Between the docking bay of Eldora (now decommissioned) and Tacyon Port, travel between these two areas of land was difficult for the average wielder.

Tourism

Traveling tourists from the Junon Airport must use this bridge in order to reach the other levels of Junon from Eldora City's southwest exit.
