Nagarians and Tigrans fight over territory and end up both getting defeated by a unification movement, resulting in the Duhn Empire.

For the next few generations these two civilisations grew side by side, divided by the great Duhnland desert. Since there was enough space for both of them, they did not have to fight until 405, when the Nagarians desired the fertile lands of the Tigrans at the coast. That war lasted until 417 and would cost a lot of lives on both sides. The Nagas were stronger and more magically affine, but the Tigrans were more in numbers and better at fighting than the average non-Naga Nagarian. In 412 already the first unity-movement rose up inmidst this chaos. A Tigran chose to seek the dialogue with the Nagarians. But that movement was not met with good mood everywhere, instead the war now had three fronts: the Tigrans, the Nagarians and the unificators. In the end the idea of not having to fight the other race resonated with most of both species so many began to defect to the unity-movement. They still had to fight against both kings but the leading Tigran, the first with the idea of unity between the two species, was especially strong and led the mixed army from victory to victory, gaining followers with each victory. The faith in The LORD began to dwindle even before the Tigran-Nagarian war and with an exceptionally strong leader people began projecting divine properties onto him. He did use that image of him that people had and presented himself as a god. So by defeating both, Nagarians and Tigrans, he cemented his position as a divine leader over the Duhn Empire in 417. He then ordered to destroy both old capitals of the Nagarian and Tigran kingdoms and build a new, unified capital, the Shimmering City. Huge buildings showcasing the strength of the Emperor and the Duhn Empire should define the city. Anyone opposing the ideas of the Emperor would be enslaved and forced to work on that city, which also featured a huge wall to protect against The Hunt. In 417, when Shazzir was defeated by the unification movement and the first Emperor ordered the destruction of the Shazzir capital, Azbar did not resign but instead vowed to stay loyal to the bloodline. But because all relatives were killed in the capital, they had to declare a family of Nagarians as nobles and continued on with the decendants of that family as King Naga.
