The LORD

(a.k.a. Creator)

The LORD, as the humans call him (always in all caps), or simply the creator, as the elves call him, is the single deity of this world. He is almighty and all-knowing, but very rarely interferes with mortal lives. If he does interfere, it's more on a personal level in the lives of single people. He is purely good and only has the best intentions for anyone who decides to worship him. There is a holy book, which reveals a lot about him, but not many people have a copy and some even discredit it's validity. People call it "His Word" and some even claim to have Him speak directly to them by reading His Word.

Holy Books & Codes

The creator speaks to his beleivers through a holy book, which they simply call "His Word", or "Holy Word". It is a collection of stories about His people through the time and writings of prophets and letters of people involved with His people. "His people" does not refer to a certain species, it refers to any sentient being accepting The LORD as his personal saviour.
The story about His son coming down to the earth as a lowborn to live a life, fully adhering to the laws stated in His Word, just to be killed by his own people, serving as a sacrifice for everyone, who is willing to accept it, is the center of that book. The son then resurrected and was taken from this earth, proving his innocence and the worth of his sacrifice.

Holidays

People celebrate the birth of his son on earth every year, but very differently, depending on the specific culture. Another holiday is the day of the sacrificial death of his son.
