The Duhn-Dwarven war

Conflict erupts between the Dwarves and the Duhn Empire at the gates to the Dwarven tunnels in shouth-west Zang.

The Duhn Empire with their strong military, consisting of both, Nagarians and Tigrans and especially mighty Naga generals attacked the Dwarven gate to the Duhn desert, that leads beneath the central Zangian mountains. The Dwarves reached out for help to the Elven kingdom, which denied any help outside their borders. Help from the Hisashi Empire was not fast enough, since they had to muster their troops and would have to march through the dark Dwarven tunnels to reach the gate to the Duhn desert, where the Duhn military attacked. After they successfully breached the gate and pushed back dwarven forces far into the tunnels, the local arch-magician of the Dwarves made the tunnels collapse, burying a significant portion of the Duhn military, but also closing up that entrance for good. Dwarves work for centuries on one tunnel, so that decision was a difficult one to make, but necessary to protect their people.
