Titan

The Progenitors

Basic Information

Anatomy

Titans are strangely similar to most Human/Mer species of today, although they tower several feet above most of these species. Titans tended to look like taller, more robust humans with decisively attractive features and powerful bodies engineered to perfection. Titans of different planes varied slightly, with small adjustments to their physiology existing to make up for their new environments. On average, Titans have dense skeletal systems and efficient musculature which boosted their strength beyond mortal comprehension. They also possessed a Magitek enhanced nervous system which enhanced their reflexes and average intelligence.   Their internal mana-supplies are theorized to be much more advanced than any mortal species that currently exist, with evidence pointing to untrained Titans being able to accomplish spells that are difficult for the seasoned mage.   Titans have a very sophisticated metabolism, which involves a highly complicated system of stomachs and intestines which leave almost no waste products after digestion.

Genetics and Reproduction

Titans initially reproduced sexually, in a manner identical to that of most mortal creatures. They gave live-birth and raised their young over an entire life-cycle. However, later on in their Species history, a drastic change was made to their reproductive cycle, causing New Titans to be made, rather than born. This led to Titans being engineered to near perfection, and Titans beginning, at the earliest, in the "Teen" stage of their life cycle.

Dietary Needs and Habits

The metabolism of the Titans and its sophisticated nature lead to the Titans being able to eat nearly all kinds of matter. Titans, however, historically are shown to prefer Vegetables, with the staple food of Titans theorized to have been a type of tuber that functioned as a precursor to the potato.

Additional Information

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Titan architecture and remains can be found in every plane, with their remains concentrating in an underwater region of the Dead Sea.

Average Intelligence

Titans were a very intelligent species, owing to their Magi-tek enhanced nervous systems.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Titans possess the standard 5 senses of any mortal creature. Theories exist in circles that discuss Titan Morphology that they possessed a type of "Magic Sense", which allowed them to inherently see local magical aura's easily seeing through Invisibility and Polymorph spells. They also are theorized to have possessed a type of limited telepathy with their fellow Titans, being able to sense the general emotions of other surrounding Titans.
EXTINCT
Scientific Name
Homo Titanus
Origin/Ancestry
Titans are theorised to be the precursors to most celestial and planar beings, and thusly Titans of certain planes share similarities to their most common denizen e.g. Devilish Titans having horns and tails, Angelic Titans having halos and small wings etc
Lifespan
Unknown, Theorized to be Immortal
Average Height
10' - 13'
Average Weight
265 - 378 lbs
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
The average tint of a Titan is theorized to be of a muted blueish color, although there is evidence pointing to a veritable rainbow of colors present in the species.
