Gnomes are very small primatoid sophonts native to the Eewalese subchain of Thalassaterria. They are very reclusive, though in recent centuries they have been forced to abandon true isolationism by the advances of the Eian Empire.

Gnomes are minuscule humanoid sophonts, and while they have adapted bipedal cursoriality they also retain the prehensile tails of their ancestors. Gnomes are quite hairy to boot, with both sexes sporting impressive facial hair.
