I wasn't really inspired by books as such, but I read a lot on the internet to get inspiration from the political system of human government as well as to figure out how to explain some of my technologies. Also, I read a lot to determine the economic system of human government which is one of the most important points of my universe since it offers an alternative to the capitalist system. Finally, I also read a lot on the internet to inspire me and define my extraterrestrial species.
