Goz
Goz is a planet with large mountain ranges over a large part of its surface with mountains covered in snow. The water in liquid form is found under the permafrost, which helps maintain small vegetation. Chosen by the authorities to serve as the capital in place of their home world destroyed after a cataclysm on it. The planet is today an essential economic, political, administrative and military center within the Holy Kingdom of Katho. The civil war of the 2350s unfortunately damaged a good part of the infrastructures and the planet still retains some consequences of it today, but this one has generally recovered from this difficult period.
Demographics
The main city on the planet is New Kesho which was named in honor of the Kedeshi native world, this city is the largest on the planet and act has the capital of the Holy Kingdom of Katho, the rest of the population who is fully kedeshi is concentrated in many cities of different size all around the planet. Although not on the planet itself, diplomatic personnel belonging to other species from other states in the galaxy are present in Goz's orbit in the embassies there.
Government
The planet hosts the institutions of the system of which it is the capital in the city of New Kesho, it is there that the governor appointed by the High Priest sits. this city also hosts central government institutions such as the Holy Council, the main body of central government.
Defences
Defense is the planet's biggest weak point, despite having an Orbital Defense System (ODS) which is made up of several orbital cannons used to support militia ships in the event of an attack. The lack of a stronghold in orbit and a centralized command makes the planet much more vulnerable to attacks unlike that of the Republic.
Industry & Trade
The planet, thanks to the rich veins of minerals present on its surface, is an important producer of alloy for the militia ships which from the four corners of the Holy Republic of Katho to buy parts fresh from the factories of Goz. The planet is also an essential commercial crossroads both for internal and external trade. The planet is indeed an obligatory crossing point for trade between the Holy Republic of Katho and the Republic of Planets.
Infrastructure
The Kedeshis use trains to travel between different cities on the planet. The planets have four spaceports, so the largest is located in New Kesho. Three orbital stations serve as anchor points for ships that cannot land on the planet. The various military militias use military bases that they build themselves but they do not have military bases in orbits because these are too expensive to operate for the militias who therefore prefer to use motherships.
Architecture
The Kedeshi are experts at manual work and their great strengths enable them to wield stone like no one else. The fairly dry climate of Goz as well as their home planet led them to build semi-subterranean habitats close to water sources under the permafrost of their planet. Their buildings are therefore built on the rock with combinations of modern materials such as glass and steel which does not let much light through to adapt to the Kedeshi's lower tolerance to light. New Kesho is also a 95% underground city, the exterior part being reserved for spaceports and other exterior equipment.
Geography
The planet's landscape is quite steep with mountain ranges including very high peaks on most of these continents, a few small frozen oceans are also present on the surface. An important part of the planet's geography is also the caves under the mountains, usually close to the hot springs that the kedeshis use as living quarters, despite this the planet is generally mono-biome.
Natural Resources
The main natural resource of the planet is the presence of numerous veins of minerals of all kinds which feed the aerospace industry of the planet which allowed it to enrich itself thanks to exports both to interstellar and domestic markets.
