YurkShur-Class Mother-Sphere

The YurkShur-Class Mother-Sphere is the first Starliner created by the Kambuchka Continuance. Following peaceful first contact with the Agilean Constitutional Empire, the Kambuchka were gifted the knowledge of faster than light travel. While respecting their new ally, they did not want to be wholly dependent upon them, the many nations of the Continuance pooling their resources to build their largest vessel yet.
The Yurkshur is technically two vessels that work in tandem, the "Yurk" and the "Shur". The Yurk, or Cradle is the larger cube-shaped section which houses an escher-like city boasting a population of 2,225,000, docking ports, shipyards, and most of the fold drives. The Shur, or Hammer, is horizontaly splitting traditional Kambuchka spherical design, and is the main combat module. The Shur is designed to leave the Yurk behind for combat operations. Both components are needed to make long-range fold jumps, though the Yurk is capable of short-range jumps by itself.

Power Generation

The Yurkshur derives its power from 10N-Way Fusion Reactors, relying on Hyperium drawn from their home system's gas giants. The Yurk has eight while the Shur has two. The Kambuchka's refinement process of Hyperium is relatively crude, resulting in a less efficient implementation of the technology, however, it results in a form of neutrally charged particle which is utilized by Kambuchka weaponry.
The Shur's reactors are of a new experimental design, originally intended to power entire regions of their homeworld, repurposed to meet the high power demands of Space Fold.

Propulsion

The Yurkshur relies on a wide range of a small but powerful Laser Induced Fusion Thrusters scattered across the hull. Due to the vessel's design, it has no main engine. This makes the vessel relatively slow acceleration, but it is capable of moving freely in any direction.
The Yurkshur's primary means of movement is its Space Fold Drive, based on technology gifted from the Agilean Constitutional Empire.

Weapons & Armament

• 120x KCA-G-71 225cm Mega Cannon: This weapon fires a focused beam of massive, high-velocity mega-particles, which cannot be deflected by magnetic fields and tears through any conventional armor material. To create the mega-particles, a cannon-toting vehicle must first gather particles from the vehicle's n-way fusion reactor. The particles are collected in a device called an energy condenser, where they are compressed in a high-density Holzman Field until they fuse into mega-particles. The performance of the mega-particle cannon is thus limited by the reactor's ability to produce these particles. The vessel has these weapons spread across its hull on ball mounts.
• 4x KCA-P-X1 Positron Blaster Cannon: A positron cannon fires beams of positrons, the antimatter equivalent of electrons. When such a beam comes into contact with an object, the positrons and electrons annihilate each other, which in turn causes the target to break apart on a molecular level. A side effect of this process is a burst of highly lethal gamma radiation, which causes further damage. Due to this fact, these cannons are usually used only in space, since use of them inside an atmosphere would cause great damage to the surrounding area. The Yurkshur's four docking ports can convert into these weapons, providing a powerful weapon, albeit somewhat limited in firing arc.

Armor and defense

• Hexaferrum Armor:Extracted from the rocky cores of their gas giants, this armor is highly resistant to kinetic attack.
• Anti-Beam Coating: The technology coats multiple layers of high specific heat capacity material on top of the armour that evaporates in high temperature. It provides a type of sacrificial protection against any type of energy weapon. However, due to its nature of ablating when defending against great heat, ABC can only tolerate a few hits to the same spot.
