Nendai

The 'Dreamer's Oasis' or the 'Empires Dark Underbelly'?

Nendai is the largest city on the smallest of Aglis's two life rich moons, Sahde. It rests on the part of the moon facing the planet itself in the rain forests that dot the dark side of the tidal locked moon. Nendai has always carried a bad reputation for being a haven for Erissi pirates and criminals and was one of the last places that the Unity movement spread to and subsequently was the last state to be integrated. The reputation of the city remains if in a slightly lesser extent, whether due to the city losing its edge over time or it being covered up by the larger Agilean government is unknown. Many in the military do however like spending their shore leave in this location.

The government of Nendai is composed of the rulers of each industry and specilization of which there are many, sciences and technology flow through the city but its overall focus is on entertainment.

Defences

The city funds the defenses of both itself and the moon as a whole. There are many planetary installations as well as orbital platforms defending itself and acting as a buffer for Aglis itself.

Tourism

Tourism is very high in the city, it is seen as a jumping off point from Aglis proper to the empire as a whole. Not all stop through Nendai but many do. The Agilean government however are sure to keep diplomats as far as possible from it.

Climate

Mush like Aglis itself the climate within Sadhe and Nendai is very moist and tropical, an environment that suits the Eris very well.
