Joyous Flock

The Joyous Flock is gathered around the Pelican ship known as the Eternal Light. It is one of the oldest most documented Flocks, and has regulaly been seen operating around Pacifica, Free Space and Sovereign Space. The Joyous Flock has an embassy on Beacon and open dialogue with the Union of Socialist Systems. The Joyous Flock is one of the largest Sardania Nomad flocks that has been documented, with over one thousand ships calling the Eternal Light home. Their leaders are chosen democratically, each captain has a vote and they can vote for the council that holds court on the Eternal Light. For the Convergence of the Wills, the Joyous Flock is known for bringing a wide variety of exotic foods, drinks and alternative substances like Spice, Slo-Mo and Xen. Their ships are decorated with images of various suns and nebula storms they have passed through in their travels. They have long tassels of colorful metal that dangle behind their starships, that double as active scanners while they travel through the filament. The Flock actively avoids dealing with the Colonial Earth Empire, a product of a feud that has existed from long even before the Silence.
