House of Lanterns
The House of Lanterns are a noble house with many ties to the Corporate Assembly and the economic powers that govern there. They prefer to govern with a softer power, and are keenly interested in genetic augmentation and transhumanism.
The House of Lanterns is the only major house that continues to work as one planet towards a single goal: the production and perfection of the human form, the processes of its replication, and the broadening of its possibilities. Lanterns works closely with Smith-Shimano Corpo, perfecting cloning processes for 1:1 facsimile orders and user-specified biocompatible technologies as well as luxury, lifestyle, industrial, military, and other blue-sky augmentations. Lanterns provides to the Empire, per capita, the most medical doctors, technicians, and bio/pharma personnel of any world in the Core Systems. Thanks to a healthy virtual and physical exchange program with SSC’s Constellar Congress, Lanterns is a surprisingly cosmopolitan House, with an large population in the Great Expanse space.

- Smith Clan - A cadet clan formed early in the days of colonizing the Panem Region, House Smith was the original founding partner in Smith-Shimano Corpo.
- Radix Clique - The Radix clique is rooted into the power structures on Narez, with many of the city centers under their control. Their incredible wealth is derived from the biomanacers and the fabricator guilds, who provide some of the most most complex technology in the empire.
