Camelot
Camelot is a feudal world, stuck in the past and under the grip of the House of Stars. They provide food and manpower to the house and recieve almost nothing in return. Their planet is a rural backwater, with no gate. Camelot is a massive green world, filled with industrial farms that feed the rest of the empire.
While in pure size, the planet is one of the largest. In population, Camelot is one of the most sparse. 80% of the population works with the massive industrial agricultural plants. The only way off of the planet is service with either the Royal Stars Guard Army or the Imperial Navy. Some are afforded the ability to attend one of the more prestigious agri-colleges, where they are able to move up to an illustrious career in middle management. There is a bubbling resistance growing underneath the security state on the planet. The guild has taken root and they've begun fabricating weapons and supplies.
The ignoble of camelot have been known to have a rebellious streak, which lead to their interstellar gate being destroyed by the Empire sometime before the Silence. Their economy never really recovered, and neither has the collective memory of the people.
Courts of Camelot
The various counts who hold court on Camelot are poor in the grand scheme of the empire, but compared to the rest of Camelot they live like kings of old. Wealth is concentrated into only small proportion of the population, who hold court in massive walled castles they've built. These castles were built to seperate them from the massives, and protect them from their ire. They live in relative bubbles, with technology giving them lives more similar to those in the Throne Worlds. This is paid for by the meager wealth generated by the ignoble of population, who loathe the counts as disconnected aristocrats. Joining this elite club is only done through a meager chance of moving up the agricultural corporations.Climate
The ecosystem of camelot is a simplified cycle, mostly consistent of a rainy monsoon season and a hot, dry season. Most of the planetary year is spent mostly in the monsoon season, a byproduct of a poorly maintained biosphere caused by high pollution of the agri-industries.
The monsoon season has left most the planet in a dreary gray and features the regular drizzle. Most residents rarely see the sun through the layers and layers of clouds. Heavy rains and high levels of oxygen in the atmosphere have led to a better ability to grow a variety of crops. They have a speciality in modified potatoes, carrots, leafy greens and modified grains.
