Vaucury

Vaucury is a terrestrial planet covered in dense forests and mountain ranges. It is the home planet of the Vaucurese species and their culture.
The Planet is a member planet of the Galactic Coalition.

Vaucury is one of seven planets in a single-star solar system. The planet has two moons in its orbit.

Ecosystem & Geography

Vaucury is mostly covered in many biomes but has a lot of rainforests and mountain highlands, with the atmosphere of the planet having lots of moisture and rainy weather being common on the planet. There are also grasslands and plains regions with drier environments and even a few dry arid regions. Some, if not most, of these nature regions, have been demolished for the building of cities and urban areas.
The planet is covered mostly in oceans and other bodies of water, with numerous continents and landmasses.

Population

The planet is mostly populated with Vaucurese with some small minority pockets of species from other planets and systems. The majority of the population lives in urban settlements, with some of the urban areas being large, and most being quite small and rural.

Infrastructure

Vaucury has a well-built-up infrastructure, but much of it is not fully accessible to taller species having shorter ceilings and doorways. They have lots of trains, which are built with vaucurese physiology in mind particularly their tails, which allow for fast travel across the planet in a matter of hours.
