The Platinum Dragon

The Platinum Dragon’s mythos is well known across the world, as he is unquestionably a real Dragon. Though Imperial Pantheon puts him in a unique position. Here he is the god of Goodness, Order both created and Natural and the sheer power of the State and Dragon kind. His myth follows his endless duel with Tiamat the fiend lord of colored dragons. He is unique in how much involvement with Edren's creation he has and his involvement with the government. The former dragons that protected Edren are no more. And while his cult was once run by silver dragons, Dragonborn, and dragon sorcerers, the Dragons have left and the bulk of the Dragonborn. Wyvern animals and Dragon sorcerers now rule the Platinum Cathedral and a small amount of the dragonborn knight caste remain.

Tenets of Faith

The Cult once was important in managing state religion with the Oracle leading religious rituals and holding veto power over any government decision. Though rarely used in its historic day. However with the Dragons gone and the Oracle reduced to a simple non sentient silver Wyvern, the cult remains powerful only as a military tool holding a monopoly on Wyvern Knights. Those outside the power struggle of the cult and those who enjoy the parades and festivals the cult hosts as passing fancy, few actively worship the Platinum Dragon, of those few outsiders they are mostly doomsday cults preaching the doom of Edren with the abandoning of the dragons or simple private and automatic faiths of the laymen.
