Baldev's Wash

Geography

Baldev's Wash is a backwater swamp from Bez-Soli. Some of the locals within are quite beautiful, while others are dangerous and ominous, this being the majority. The waters are shallow yet long, with muddy reeds. The paths within are unlike the rest of Cattle-Bone, muddled and damp.

Climate

Damp and dark, the climate of Baldev's Wash is unlike most of Cattle-Bone's climate. It holds the warm water from Bez-Soli well within it's eerie canopy, giving it an almost rainforest atmosphere, unlike any of the other swamps and bogs of Great South Saadourian Bay or even South Saadour.

Fauna & Flora

Among the vines, trees, mosses, grasses and reeds, animals do indeed find a home in the backwater. A vast amount of water snakes call the warm waters home, a good way to heat their cold-blooded bodies in the normally sun-deprived Wikimi Jungle. You may also find birds, some fishers, some song-birds bringing some cheer to the swamps, you may find a rabbit or Rat among the grasses, though you are more likely to find the remains of such creatures among the shallows of a water snake den. Crawfish and other invertibray are also seen within the waters, though many stick to the well-lit and less dangerous Bez-Soli.
