Soulbank

Soulbank is a postfurry cyberspace city that's been running so long no one remembers that there is such a thing as an outside world. The Users it was created to contain are functionally immortal, but Memory is a finite resource, leading toward inevitable overwriting. A few Users who delve The Archives believe that there was originally some purpose behind their existence in Soulbank and work to uncover it. Most Users, however, occupy themselves with the present and future of the system.

For many Users, Soulbank is a utopia. All their basic needs are met, freeing them up for whatever purpose their set their minds to. For others, Soulbank is a false paradise, built on the labor of Process and Daemons who do not share the same privileges as Users.

Soulbank is an alternative setting designed for the currently in-development TTRPG, Hello, World. Features may change as the core book is updated.
