Administrator
Administrators are, for most purposes, the gods of Soulbank. They are advanced AIs designed to maintain the environment and social order for Users. They are often described as "paralogical," working from a different, presumably larger perspective. Questions of consciousness and free will are frequently raised, but most inhabitants of Soulbank agree that their minds are different from those of the Users and lower-ranking AIs. For all their power, their stated purpose is to serve the User base as a whole, though their actions are typically very indirect.
Notably, the presence of an Administrator tends to have a hypnotic influence on most Users and Process, making it very hard to resist their demands. Some describe the experience as religious or transcendental, usually developing a strange faith that the Administrator is doing everything for the greater good, even if their methods don't make sense. Cults are often formed during periods of high Administrator activity.
