General Vilhem (Morin Regime)

Vilhem is perhaps the most hated man in the entire Hinterlands . A close Morin ally, Vilhem was given personal command over the long and bloody campaign to claim the bread basket region. The campaign took almost an entire decade and claimed countless lives on both sides. In the turning point of the war Vilhem personally killed the Karnian Royal Army's General Geer, sending the royal forces into a route. Like his close friend Morin, Vilhem is a career military man and has not succumbed to some of the more despotic tendencies of his peers. Unlike Morin, the rebellious and cantankerous attitudes of the Hinterlanders towards his occupation has given Vilhem an extreme sense of paranoia. Many of his governors and officials have been poisoned, kidnapped, robbed or killed. His own headquarters in the city of Amaranth have been subject to arson on at least 3 occasions. Vilhem has taken to having all of his food and drink tested and traveling with a cadre of elite body guards. His paranoia has become so strong that he has become convinced that his old enemy General Geer is still alive and secretly plotting revenge hidden away in the Hinterlands. Vilhem is a hulking brute of a swordsman. He stands well over six feet tall with huge wide shoulders. His hair is salt and pepper and he has it trimmed up every week into the same soldier cut. His preferred weapon is a massive greatsword which he wields with ease even in his 50's.
