Amid their investigation, the party uncovered a troubling connection between the flame and mysterious disappearances in Ogden. The revelation hinted at a growing conflict between illithids and creatures of the Far Realm, posing a threat that could spill onto the surface. The question of whether Fort Vegapath should intervene remains a tense and divisive issue.
