Nica Sonez

Nica Sonez grew up on one of the outer colonies in the Empire of Earth. She and her family lived in the planet's capital city, so her childhood was marked by the constant presence of spaceships coming and going to the planet, which sparked her deep interest in spaceships for Nica. Nica´s interest in spaceships received great help from her parents, who were engineers and worked in the dockyard just outside the capital, helping to maintain ships. Her parents helped instil a deep interest in technology and machinery, and it was this interest that helped Nica be accepted into the Naval Academy for the Imperial Navy.
During her time at the Naval Academy, Nica formed a tight-knit group consisting of Caden Ethan, those around them would end up naming their group the Astral Vanguard. The group would give many of their instructors extra grey hairs as they always seemed to find a way to win impossible exercises or get out of trouble.

Nica is known to have a sharp intellect and be a natural problem-solver, although rumours say that during her time at the academy, she was quite the problem-creator. Some might describe her as having a reserved nature, but she is also known to be fiercely loyal to her friends and colleagues and will go to great lengths to help those she considers her friends.
