The Storm of Oaths

In modern times called the Bjornheimer Expansion, known among the faithful as the Storm of Oaths, marks the sweeping rise of The Eldrathi Empire from a fractured seafaring culture into a unified theocratic war-machine. Sparked in the aftermath of the Black Snow and the divine intervention at Nordheim’s volcano, the movement was catalyzed by the rise of The Prophet of Wodyn — an immortal seer who turned a natural catastrophe into a holy sign.   Under his guidance, the Bjornheimer clans were unified through blood-sworn pacts and sacred law, casting aside centuries of feud and clan rivalry. The Prophet declared a divine mandate to scour the land of heresy, leading to a crusade not only against the First Faith — rooted in the worship of alien beings of light — but also against some Mara sects that resisted submission to Wodyn’s fight against southern powers. The Eifer are in retreat, their old gods -the Vaneer - crushed, their views of The Eldonian Pantheon suppressed.   What began as raids soon became righteous conquest. Cities fell. Shrines burned. Oaths were sworn in blood and fire to the storm of Wodyn. The expansion continues to this day, with The Eldrathi Empire claiming divine sanction to bring all of Solacea under the judgment of the Allfather.  Where one oath is broken, ten are sworn in its ash.” — Sermon of the Prophet
