The Eldonian gods, called the Eldier by historians and Vikti, are ancient, elemental forces that shape the cycles of life, death, war, and nature.
They are not distant, perfect beings of alien motivations and nature, but living powers — fierce, flawed, and close to the struggles of mortal men in their motives.
They are devided cosmologically between the Aiseer, and Vaneer, the Aiseer are the human shaped deities stemming from Wodyn, and his brothers. the Vaneer are the gods of nature, and forests, who look to the mother goddess Mara for her protection.

For those of lesser means, sacrifices were made using oxen, sheep, and other farm animals sent to Vjolda.
