Child of God New Mask
The Holy Spirit works day and night through his word as the new creation grows and thrives. Guarded by the saints and cared for by the Spirit a young being emerges holy and blameless in Christ. This new being is a creature of light, love, order, peace, and truth. A reflection of the one that has made it in his own image. A new child of God, given great power to be what God needs him to be in any given moment. The New Mask is full of purpose and direction as he serves God's will, whether it be as a messenger, builder, caregiver, child, ruler, priest, or warrior. No matter the purpose New Mask will thrive and grow, even as the Old Face exerts its corrupting influence. "Dear Lord in Heaven, be with me as my protector. Guard and repel the monster within, deepest night, blackest sin. Allow me to grow as a branch bears fruit for the tree".
"Do you not see the ocean all around us brothers and sisters? Like a garden without its gardener, the ocean of want swells wildly out of control. The roots of the trees starve one another as the branches break and bend under the weight of endless growth and hunger. Old Solace has no shepherd, thus it festers in the darkness of its many sins. Our shepherd is our light, for with rod and staff he comforts and protects us all. Stay in the light, stay in the New Solace that is graciously given to us."

How God goes about carrying out this task of salvation is something else entirely. As a builder has many tools made for various purposes, so too does The Lord shape and use his tools accordingly. The New Mask is whatever the Lord needs him to be, whether it be the role of a voice that spreads good news, a builder of great and small things alike, or a valiant warrior charging into battle. Though the New Mask is subject to the weakness of form, even in that weakness there can be a great strength. Such are the mysteries of The Lord and his purposes.
