Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Albo was an older Miinu with pale skin marked with black stripes and a pointed nose. He had perfectly combed black hair and a well groomed handlebar mustache. Being a male mosquito, his antennae was fuzzier than his wife and daughters. He often dressed in nice suits in order to look presentable for customers.

Physical quirks

He was the only member of the family that didn't drink blood, as male mosquitoes only drink nectar. However, he would often drink red wine in solidarity with his family.

Personal history

The Needlenose family were the miinu behind a farm of Blunt-Leaf orchids, a fickle plant that was particular about what insects received it's nectar. The Needlenoses, made up entirely of mosquitoes, were the only ones in the town of Scuttlebug Bayou who could harvest the precious nectar and made a lot of wealth selling it over the years. Albo was raised his whole life with the intention that the farm and the house would go to him as the eldest son, and spent much of his childhood learning to take care of the farm, how to properly harvest and strain the nectar, and how to sell it.   He would later marry Aegytha who would lay and hatch him three beautiful daughters, Cicilia, Aeda, and the runt that took longer to hatch; Cullandra. It was his youngest that showed the most interest in his work, often begging to travel with him to the market to watch him. Despite his wife's overprotectiveness of the girls, Albo couldn't help but feel a sense of pride that one of them was interested in his job and would sneak Cullandra out without her mother's knowledge.   When Cullandra was a teenager and no longer needed to spend time in the water, she became more active in his job, often going out to help with sales, even if her anger issues often made it difficult for her to work with customers. He would also start teaching her to run the farm after realizing that she'd be the best candidate to take over after his passing. Unfortunately his passing would come much sooner than he thought, as while working on the farm one afternoon, he'd get eaten by a toad.

Personality

Albo was known as a man who valued hard work and dedication to a craft. He was as a adept salesman with a charming personality that drew people in. He often took pride in his work and the legacy of his family, as mosquitos often got a bad reputation. At home he was a dutiful husband and father. He was aware that Aegytha could be a little overbearing and often sacrificed his own wishes for hers, but he had a soft spot for his children, for whom he'd break the rules for in secret. He was also known to give good life advice thanks to his travels.

History

Aegytha and Albo met at a young age and got married quickly, a little under a year of meeting, as they were eager to start a family. In short time, Aegytha would lay eggs that would hatch into their three children.   Although Albo and Aegytha seemed like a perfect, happy couple, there were a lot of problems in their relationship under the surface. For a start, the marriage was one of convenience than love. Aegytha simply wanted to marry a man who had a good career and could promise her the life of wealth and luxury she'd always wanted, and Albo simply wanted someone who would bare his children. The two weren't very compatible, with Aegytha being overbearing and bossy.   She would often be the one to establish the rules around the house and push her husband around. She'd often make decisions raising their children that Albo didn't agree with, but he'd never visibly push back in front of her, even if her actions were hurting their children. He preferred to break her rules in private, often pushing her boundries for the sake of his kids, only to tell them to keep is a secret from their mother. This inadvertently caused a rift between him and his eldest daughters, as they would often tattle to their mother and get him in trouble, and as a result he was less likely to break the rules for them in the future.   Shortly after his death, Aegytha was already on the hunt for another man who would support her lifestyle.
