Starwander Society
The Starwanderers are a faction of Trallyr that split themselves apart from the greater population at the start of their presence in the sector. A smaller faction, the Starwanderers live in a convoy of ships and stations of their own construction. Some ships might spend time away from the greater convoy, but the main population tends to keep relatively close to each other as they travel endlessly across the stars. This Trallyr faction has abandoned the idea of living on planets with many of their members refusing to step foot on solid ground.

Government and Policy
The Starwanderers are led by a a Head Pilot who is supported by a cabinet of individuals who each specialize in a chroma caste color's domain (though no rule dictates that the head of each domain must be that specific color, this often happens anyway). This head pilot is elected, with each major station contributing a single electoral vote based on the individual votes of those who live within them. (Noteably, the Hallacta Ship Station has multiple sections that contribute one vote each, due to its size.) Unlike their counterpart: The Gardeners of Jainonn, the different stations of Starwander society are offered more freedom to choose the rules by which they govern their people. Citizens are allowed to migrate between stations, and stations that find all their people leaving will often adjust their policies to match those of the stations their citizens are choosing to emigrate to. Starwander Society aims to forge their own history with new ideas and traditions being suggested with relative frequency.Law Enforcement
On Starwander ships, resource conservation is vital. Because of this, the majority of crimes that concern the authorities are those of theft, destruction, and concealing extra goods. Starwanderers have chosen to ensure everyone on their ships is tended to for their basic needs without needing to spend money, so anyone trying to hoard food or steal valuable ship resources is seen as stealing from everyone else. Thus, these crimes are dealt with rather harshly. Starwander law enforcers are trained volunteers, and their numbers and training varies from ship to ship. Generally, though, initial infractions receive a slap on the wrist and repeat or serious offenders are either sent to a different ship that will take them, assigned difficult jobs, or asked to leave the convoy. Some laws followed on Starwander ships are as follows:Demographics
The Starwanderers are Trallyr. While they are open to having those they are allied with visiting their convoys, the nature of experimental Trallyean culture leads them to be selective about who joins their ranks. Space is not infinite on a space ship, so even Trallyr seeking exit from their prior factions are thoroughly vetted before they can even step foot on a station as a true citizen.Culture
While the Starwanderers do not dismiss all of their original cultural values, they are far more lax than their traditional cousins about many of them. For example, chroma casting within star wander society is far more lax: trallyr are allowed to work jobs of different colors that match to their interests, given they have the family background or skill to do so. With some resistance, there have even been efforts to pull away from the traditions of arranged marriage and even naming conventions with the goal of creating their own, unique identity. Among the things that Starwanderers regard as important, the following traits rank above the others:Spirituality
A majority of Starwanderers are followers of their namesake Starwander Spirituality, as this was a central part of their split from the rest of Trallyr-kind. This new belief system gives these followers a religious reverence for outer space and all of its quirks. Much how hometree trallyr feel a deep connection to nature and plants, many Starwanderers feel a similar way about things such as 0-gravity, drifting asteroids, and the near infinite stars. Their convoy way of life represents a prevailing belief that life's desire to cling to planets is outdated and unnecessary, and that the destiny of their kind is to travel the galaxy. The starwanderers seek to become one with and understand the universe and it's secrets, but in a more holistic and emotional way than a scientific faction like ESRA. To them, breaking down the galaxy into just numbers and equations is to miss the beauty of it all.History
The Starwander movement sprung up from a radical new spirituality that started in the Hallacta Tree Station on it's migration route to Jainonn. The people of Hallacta, feeling ever more disconnected from the natural world that their culture told them they were a part of, started forming their own ideas and traditions based around the life they did know: star traveling. The Hallacta population voted out their resident Sage and replaced them with their own spiritual leader that took these space-faring traditions to a more formal level. Separated by the void, the other stations could not interfere with the people of Hallacta, but when all the stations arrived in Jainonn's orbit the rouge Hallacta collided culturally with the other, unanimously hometree-minded, populations. In refusing to step foot on the new homeworld, the Trallyr of Hallacta forfeited their claim to settle there and left the rest to their work. To help reduce conflict, the Starwanderers gave their share of biological cryo-samples to the gardeners and deployed their hometree capsule on the surface of Jainonn early. This wasn't enough, however, to ease the outrage of those they left behind. The Starwanderers, notably, don't care much what they think anymore. Their convoy now consists of hundreds of ships and dozens of stations that all travel alongside the massive Hallacta.Declared Friends
Ever since the two factions met, their cultural similarities and station-based living have forged a strong bond between them.
Allied
Most factions must go through the outreaches to reach the homeworld, but the Starwanderers are the exception due to being the faction to make first contact.
Declared Friends
The Jalgar and Trallyr are known friends.
At Peace
There are not many official deals of peace between them, but these two factions tend to get along.
Tense Relations
The Gardeners of Jainonn see the Starwanderers as traitors to Trallyr-kind. Those of Starwander kind would rather not interact with their forebears.
