Roughneck Command

The Roughnecks are considered one of the finest platoons within the regiment and, although the praise and infamy is often heaped upon the commanding officer. However, as any officer within the MI will tell you, the real backbone, character and reputation is down to their staff- the four veterans of combat who will assist the officer lead a fine platoon into battle, whilst maintaining order and all around awareness and, if need be, take over command should the officer die in the name of the Holy Emperor.
Roughneck Command is one such unit of men. They have served under 2Lt. J. Rico and his successor was once a Third Lieutenant in this unit before taking command himself, now supported by those who were once his peers. Consisting of three veteran soldiers, two of whom are specialised in melta weapons and communications respectively, whilst the third is there to ensure The Lieutenant isn't bothered when he's issuing his orders. The fourth man to make up the unit is the current officer-under-instruction, 3Lt. G. Ludnin, who also doubles up as the platoons medic. Together they will always be on the front line, supporting their boss in whatever thetre of war they find themselves, and do their part in maintaining the reputation of The Roughnecks!
