Red Hunters

The Red Hunter are a codex-compliant Space Marine Chapter, known to have unusually close ties with the Ordos of the Imperial Inquisition. Through ancient and secret oaths, the Chapter always answers the call of the Inquisition's agents, providing whatever is requested, from a single squad for delicate operations, to entire companies or even the entire Chapter.

Public Agenda

Much like the other Space Marine Chapters who have responded to the new call of arms, carrying the authority of the Lord of Baal, the Red Hunters appear to have provided a squad of Hellblasters to join the Crusading Company and bring glory to the Imperium and their Chapter. Below their noble efforts, lie a second, more concerning mission coming from the Ordo Sabilii

The Red Hunters in the Sleipner Crusade
Events reported following the battle at Resolute, where it seems the 9th Reconnaissance Battalion were apparently assailed by a unit of space marines, displaying iconography of the loyalist Shadow Ravens Chapter, the Inquisitors of the Ordo Sabilii were quick to suppress reports further and chose to brush over reports from the battalion's guardsmen with more rations and medals for those involved and more resources than they could shake a lho-stick at. Behind this cool exterior, lay a calculated set of minds, disturbed by the findings, with many questions that needed answering- Was it the Shadow Ravens? What were they doing and under whose authority were they acting? Is this a risk to the crusade?
Such questions would not be completely answered by the agents they already had strewn throughout the 5122nd Imperial Army, as Astartes are not only socially higher than the average human, but they are known for being relatively insular and unengaging with other Imperial commanders, outside of other Astartes. As such, one of the senior Inquisitors within the Ordo sent a secure request to the planet of Montsegnur, home of the Red Hunters Chapter- a chapter upon whom the Inquisition can rely on more than others, barring the Grey Knights, Deathwatch and Exorcists.
The request was for the Red Hunters to assign some Space Marines to the crusade to provide additional information to the Ordo and to send a very overt message to the Shadow Ravens - the Inquisition is watching
