Heartflame Valley

Heartflame Valley is the region of Skydaria located in the center of the continent between several major mountain ranges: the Cross-trunk Mountains to the west, the Headwing Mountains to the north, and the Heartflame Mountains to the east and south. It is the primary location of the Moltesian gryphons and home to the sole tribal gryphon nation known as the Heartflame Kingdom. Heartflame Valley's location and its abundance of mineral resources made it a hub for major trade routes between the birdkin and the beastkin as well as a center for metalwork and masonry. Badgers are the most common beastkin species with mining and blacksmithing their most common occupations.

Geography

Heartflame Valley is completely surrounded by mountains, some of which are volcanic. The terrain is considerably rocky with little in the way of natural vegetation.
