Personal history
-Doragor became king during a turbulent period in Heartflame where many clans wanted to become independent again, and he needed to be aggressive to hold onto his kingdom (this involved attacking rebellious clans, taking captives and abusing them the Volgiran gryphons were also trying to expand into Moltesian territory in order to build their numbers as they feared extinction
-It is possible that Doragor's father was mismanaging the kingdom and Doragor felt the need to win his respect in order to get him to cede the throne, using any means necessary
-Doragor became less aggressive and more caring after he became mated and father to Embran
-Embran would later take in Mar’lek’s spirit after becoming frustrated with Doragor and wanting more power for himself
-Doragor trusts Embran due to being his heir and beloved son, having no reason to believe Embran is being manipulated (he sees Embran’s darker actions as reminiscent of his own past behavior)
-Doragor captures Aeros and Revecian by sending them on a false mission, under guidance from Embran/Mar'lek
