Ides (EE-des)

Ides is one of the deities of Sirasea. Their preferred aspect is neither male or female (what we would know as nonbinary), and their domain is Grave, which includes mourning, balance, fate, and transition/impermanence. While Rekses holds the power of death as a natural force as Midona does with life, Ides holds sway over the social and moral aspects of death and existence. Their child Kelemvor founded the Solemn Order of Rest in their honor as a religious order and guild focused on funerary tasks. Most homes have a small idol in honor of Ides and/or their Exalted to pay respect to their ancestors, either homemade or crafted by a local chapter of the Solemn Order.

Their Exalted is Xhuar the Sentinel (pronounced SHOO-ar).
