The Empire
United under the rule of one dragon Emperor, the Nordrealm, Westrealm and Southrealm form the empire. Its territory includes most of Themorin and colonialism drives the empire to expand into other continents, like the Feylands.
Structure
The Empire is a feudal society and structured as such with the Emperor at the top reigning with absolute power.
History
The Empire was founded over 4 centuries ago, when the Emperor simply walked into each realm in his Human form and proclaimed divine authority. Half a century passed before all 3 realms of Themorin were completely under his control and from then on The Empire knew nothing but peace and golden ages. Technology advanced and a few decades ago, with the discovery of the Feylands, their world expanded beyond the vast oceans surrounding Themorin, beckoning for brave settlers and conquerors.
Unfortunately, the Feylands were already inhabited when the imperial settlers landed on their territory. Elves threatened them and tried to drive them off, but when the soldiers of Malinorna attacked defenseless settlers, the Empire retaliated in force, sending an army on countless ships to take over the savage Feylands. That was when the Emperor declared war on the Feylands. A war that is still raging today and has since not seen too much progress toward victory or peace on either part.
Territories
The Empire currently controls most of Themorin, with only some stretches of mountains and dense forests out of their control. This is because other dragons live there who antagonize any who dare enter their territories.
The empire is currently also colonizing the Feylands.
Military
The imperial military of the Empire is structured into two main branches: the Land/Air Forces and the Naval Forces. Under the supreme command of the Emperor, the military hierarchy includes officers appointed by the Emperor to oversee overall strategies and operations. Each branch has its own chain of command, with ranks ranging from high-ranking commanders to enlisted personnel, fulfilling specialized roles in land, air, and naval warfare.

This structured hierarchy ensures effective command and coordination within the imperial military, enabling it to fulfill its duties and maintain the sovereignty and security of the Empire.Religion
The religious landscape of the Empire is characterized by the worship of the Emperor as the supreme deity, with the imperial pantheon venerating him as a powerful and benevolent guide. Under imperial law, the Emperor holds the highest divine authority, and all other gods are considered subordinate to him. This belief system, known as Emperor Worship, forms the cornerstone of imperial religious doctrine and is enforced by the Imperial Inquisition, a theocratic organization tasked with regulating religious orthodoxy.
The old religious figures of the three realms that comprised the Empire before its unification have been united in a new pantheon that places the Emperor at its center. This pantheon portrays the Emperor as a divine ruler who walks the material plane, guiding and unifying all living creatures under his benevolent rule. While some traditionalists may still hold onto remnants of their old faiths, the majority of imperial citizens adhere fervently to Emperor Worship, viewing the Emperor as the embodiment of divine authority and legitimacy.
The Imperial Inquisition plays a crucial role in maintaining religious conformity and enforcing the worship of the Emperor. Inquisitors are tasked with rooting out any blasphemous activities or individuals that deviate from imperial doctrine, using their authority to ensure unwavering loyalty to the Emperor's divine rule. Despite occasional dissent and resistance, the pervasive influence of the Inquisition ensures that Emperor Worship remains the dominant and unchallenged faith throughout the Empire.
Religious ceremonies and rituals honoring the Emperor are held regularly throughout the Empire, with temples and shrines dedicated to his worship dotting the landscape. Imperial holidays and festivals often revolve around the glorification of the Emperor and the celebration of his divine virtues, reinforcing the religious fervor and devotion of the imperial populace.
Overall, religion in the Empire is deeply intertwined with politics, culture, and society, serving as a unifying force that legitimizes the authority of the Emperor and perpetuates the ideals of imperial supremacy and divine rule. Through the propagation of Emperor Worship and the vigilant enforcement of religious orthodoxy by the Imperial Inquisition, the Empire maintains a firm grip on the hearts and minds of its subjects, ensuring unwavering loyalty and obedience to the divine mandate of the Emperor.
