Malinorna
Structure
Malinorna is a monarchy with a feudal structure. The following are the different societal classes:
Aran (King/Queen) - The sovereign ruler of the kingdom, holding ultimate authority over all lands and subjects.
Hîr (Lord/Lady) - Nobles who hold large estates and wield significant influence within their respective regions. They swear fealty directly to the king or queen.
Pen-neth (Vassal) - Lesser nobles who swear allegiance to a higher-ranking lord or lady, pledging military service and loyalty in exchange for land and protection.
Tûr (Knight) - Elite warriors and champions of the realm, sworn to serve and protect their liege lord or lady in times of war and peace.
Garthor (Landowner) - Wealthy landowners and merchants who control valuable resources and trade routes, contributing to the kingdom's economy and prosperity.
Hathol (Freeholder) - Free citizens who own small plots of land and engage in agriculture, crafts, or other trades to sustain themselves and their families.
Covad (Peasant) - Common folk who work the land as farmers, laborers, or artisans, providing essential goods and services to their lords and the kingdom.
Aelwyd (Outcast) - Those who have fallen from grace or been cast out from society due to criminal acts, dishonor, or other transgressions, living on the fringes of elven society.
Culture
Generally, Marlinornans are very traditional in their ways. In the cities they value civilized culture and in the rural areas people are generally close to nature and welcoming to each other. A Malinornan makes for a great host as long as their traditions are valued and followed by their guests.
History
Malinorna is an ancient kingdom that can be traced back several millennia with many generations of kings and queens ruling over it. Its history is is steeped in tradition with several larger events that formed the culture of the kingdom's citizens as well as its public relations throughout the feylands.
Demography and Population
Malinorna is inhabited mostly by Elves. Of these, most are High-Elves, but many Wood-Elves and even on rare occasion a Drow can be found among them. Among the other races in Malinorna are Fairies, Gnomes, and even some Harengon clans.
Military
The Malinornan military is structured in a clear hierarchy of ranks. These are:
Aran (King/Queen) - The supreme commander and ruler of the kingdom.
Arandur (General) - High-ranking officers responsible for overseeing military operations and strategy.
Thalion (Captain) - Commanders of individual military units, responsible for leading troops in battle.
Lhûn (Lieutenant) - Second-in-command to a captain, assisting in unit leadership and coordination.
Gellir (Sergeant) - Non-commissioned officers responsible for training and discipline within units.
Pethron (Soldier) - Regular infantry troops serving under the command of officers.
Ithron (Scout) - Specialized soldiers tasked with reconnaissance and intelligence gathering.
Megil (Archer) - Archers specializing in ranged combat and support roles.
Gwaihir (Cavalry) - Mounted soldiers trained for swift and mobile warfare.
Cúthalion (Elite Warrior) - Highly skilled and experienced warriors chosen for elite units or special operations.
Lestor (Guard) - Palace guards and elite protectors of important locations within the kingdom.
Foreign Relations
Malinorna has great relations with its tribal brethren of the forests, as well as with the aquatic kingdom of the Sea Elves. The dwarves of the Feylands have a difficult relationship with the elves of Malinorna, but they leave each other alone for the most part. Underground communities, like the Drow and Duergar clans are clear enemies of Malinorna and as of recently, the Empire has declared a war of conquest on Malinorna.

Currency
Citizens of Malinorna use standardized gold, silver and copper coins. Gold coins are minted with the profile of the ruling king, silver coins have the profile of the queen and copper coins have the profile of a prince or princess minted on them. The other side is minted with the crest of Malinorna.
Executive Body
Generally the Lestor (military guards) are responsible for keeping the order in larger settlements and cities. Smaller communities are self-regulated even though they follow the same laws.
